Private Studios Nearly Full — Tours Are Ongoing at The Grotto

Private Studios Nearly Full - Tours Are Ongoing at The Grotto

The Grotto at Stoneybrook West is getting closer every day, and the momentum has been incredible to watch. We’re still in the final stretch of construction, but the community response has been clear: people are ready for a creative space that feels welcoming, functional, and built around real demand.

A quick membership update

We now have three of our four private 10’ x 10’ studios reserved, leaving one private studio available.

Our Open Studio memberships are still available and designed for artists and makers who want a professional place to create without a private room. Open Studio members receive secure storage and access to the shared indoor and covered outdoor creative areas.

Tours are happening now

We’ve hosted a steady stream of tours, with more scheduled. If you’ve been curious about the space, this is the best way to see what we’re building and talk through whether membership fits your creative goals.

Why this model works for creatives

The Grotto is month-to-month and intentionally designed to support artist growth without friction:

  • No commissions
  • No jury process
  • A supportive community environment
  • Flexible access for working creatives

We’re also continuing to collect community feedback through our poll so that instructors and teaching artists can better understand what local students are actually looking for — including preferred class types, days, times, and formats.

Schedule a tour

If you’d like to see the studios, shared workspaces, and classroom area in person, we’d love to meet you.
