Why Winter Garden? Why Now?

Why Winter Garden? Why Now?

There's a reason we chose Winter Garden, Florida, as the home for The Grotto at Stoneybrook West. If you've toured the space or driven by during construction, you already know: this vibrant, creative town is the perfect setting for an artist-focused coworking space and studio collective that supports both professional growth and personal connection.

A Place Where Art and Community Thrive

Winter Garden is more than charming: it's strategic. Nestled along the 429 corridor, easily accessible from Clermont, Windermere, Mount Dora, and Orlando, it has become a hub for artists, designers, and creators who want space to grow their practices without sacrificing community.

You'll find murals tucked behind coffee shops, plein air painters in the park, weekend art markets, and year-round cultural events that prove this town supports and wants its local talent to thrive.

The Grotto Is Almost Ready

We had originally planned to open our doors this month, November 2025, but like any good build, a few final construction delays have nudged us just a little further. While our team is working hard to complete the space by December, we've made the call to officially launch in January 2026, just in time to start the new year fresh, inspired, and ready to create.

What Membership at The Grotto Really Means

As we meet with artists, we're thrilled by the feedback. You're telling us this is exactly what's been missing in your creative life, and we're listening.

The Grotto offers:

  • Flexible month-to-month membership
  • Private 10x10 studios or shared workspace options
  • Built-in classroom hours to host workshops or exhibits
  • Secure storage for your tools and supplies
  • A community that supports artist-entrepreneurs and gives back

This is a space where you can paint, sculpt, teach, host, photograph, or build and be part of something that's growing with you.

Your Voices Are Shaping the Future

We've been overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the responses to our community poll, where local residents shared what classes, workshops, and events they're most excited about. From pottery and printmaking to fiber arts and glass fusing, the demand is clear, and we're inviting artists to step in and meet it.

Tours have been completed more scheduled, with several artists already securing their membership by placing a small deposit to hold their space.

Book a Tour and See What's Coming

We're in that thrilling final stretch, and now is the time to get a behind-the-scenes look at what's taking shape. We're offering private, scheduled tours. With daylight saving time shortening the afternoons, we're expanding our availability for morning and midday visits.

Call or message us directly if you need a time outside of the listed slots, and we'll do our best to accomodate you, especially on quiet days when the construction crew isn't on site.

Ready to see it for yourself?

Let us walk you through the space, answer your questions, and show you how The Grotto at Stoneybrook West could fit into your creative future.
