Thank You: Our Inaugural Weekend With May Pang at The Grotto

We are still processing what just happened, in the best way.

This weekend marked a major milestone for The Grotto at Stoneybrook West, and it felt surreal to watch everything come together so beautifully. We hosted our inaugural event, welcomed guests from near and far, and created the kind of experience that confirms why we built this space in the first place.

Finishing Touches and a Real "We're Doing This" Moment

For those who have been following our build, you know it has been a steady push toward the finish line. We are in the final phase of construction and completing the last details that turn a project into a place. Hosting this event while we're in the finishing touches stage was ambitious, but it turned out to be the perfect "proof" weekend. The Grotto is real, it's active, and it's ready for what's next.

A Grateful Thank You to May Pang

We are deeply grateful to May Pang for trusting us with this exhibition and for generously sharing her work and story. Meeting May and hearing her speak about her life with John Lennon was unforgettable. Her photographs gave guests an intimate look into a very specific moment in cultural history, and it was a privilege to experience that here in Winter Garden.

Thank You to the Community

To everyone who attended, supported, shared posts, brought friends, and helped spread the word: thank you. The energy throughout the weekend was warm, curious, and genuinely special. We heard so many compliments and thoughtful reflections, and it meant everything to see people connect with the work and with the space.

This event reminded us that communities don't just "show up." They're built through shared experiences, and we are honored that you showed up for ours.

What's Next: Membership Onboarding Is Starting Now

Now that our inaugural weekend is complete, we are moving into the next phase: onboarding members and welcoming creatives into the space.

If you are an artist or creative who has been watching from the sidelines, this is the moment to reach out. We are now scheduling tours and beginning orientations, and artists joining us can start planning their move-in.

Membership starts at $525/month, month-to-month, and includes 3 hours of classroom time each month to support members who want to teach.

Client Review

This weekend was genuinely unforgettable. Seeing May Pang’s photography in person was incredible, but hearing her stories and perspective made it something else entirely. The Grotto was welcoming, beautifully organized, and had the kind of calm, elevated energy you rarely find at public events. It felt like a milestone for Winter Garden, and I cannot wait to see what they do next.
